Usage analytics notice

This employee site records limited technical and interaction data so Golden Horizon Ag can understand how internal tools are being used and improve them.

Information recorded

• Date and time of visits and approximate visit duration.
• IP address and basic connection metadata made available to the GHA application by its hosting environment. Approximate geographic fields may be unavailable depending on the host.
• Browser/device information, referring page, and basic screen/viewport information.
• Selected products, calculator values, pricing units, product-library interactions/import counts, product-detail opens, resets, and spreadsheet-link clicks.
• Summary plant-analysis workflow events, including sap vs tissue mode, uploaded file type, number of nutrient rows detected, crop/stage text, number of nutrients below/above target, and the recommended product/fit score.
• A random browser identifier stored locally to help distinguish repeat visits from the same browser.

What is not collected

The site does not request GPS location, camera, microphone, contacts, or other device permissions. Approximate location is network-derived and may be inaccurate, especially with VPNs, cellular networks, or corporate networks.

Uploaded sap/tissue report files and their full measured nutrient tables are processed in the browser and are not sent to the analytics endpoint. PDF/photo OCR also runs in the browser using third-party browser libraries loaded only when needed. The current plant-analysis table may be retained temporarily in browser session storage while the tab remains open. Only saved target-range profiles are sent to the GHA server when an administrator explicitly publishes them.

Use of the information

The information is used for internal site analytics, product-interest analysis, and improvement of GHA tools. Access to detailed analytics is restricted to an administrator-protected dashboard.
